Luoyu Zhou received the B.S. degree in optical information science and technology from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China, 2008 and the Ph.D. degree in optical engineering from the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, (CIOMP, CAS), Changchun, China. He is currently an associate professor with the School of Electronics and Information, Yangtze University, China.

His current research interests include image processing, computer vision and artificial intelligence. Up to now, he has has presided one National Natural Science Foundation of China project and more than ten provincial and ministerial-level projects, and published more than 30 papers in domestic and foreign journals.
