Minghua Zhao is a professor, doctoral supervisor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, and dean of Information Management Center, Xi’an University of Technology. She is a distinguished member of CCF(China Computer Federation), a senior member of CSIG(China Society of Image and Graphics), a member of CCF virtual reality and visualization technology professional committee, and CSIG multimedia professional committee. She received her Ph.D. degree in computer science from Sichuan University in 2006. 

Her research interests include computer vision, video analysis and understanding, image recognition, and smart education. In recent years, She has presided over more than 20 key projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,etal, published over 100 high-level papers, authorized over 50 national invention patents, and won more than 10 teaching and research awards such as the Second Prize for Science and Technology in Shaanxi Province.
